About “BAQUATTY AUDAN” initiative
«BAQUATTY AUDAN»

The launch of the “BAQUATTY AUDAN” initiative aims to enhance access to quality healthcare, education, and living conditions for rural residents. The pilot projects will be conducted in the Tselinograd District of Akmola Region.

The education project cycle began with programs to develop the professional and personal competencies of teachers and administrators in rural schools. It is well known that informational inequality exists between rural and urban students. Our task is to reduce this gap by providing access to best practices. Sustainable growth will be achieved by implementing models of the “Rural Pedagogical Academy” and Centers for Additional Education based in rural schools.

The project's goal is to establish an integrated system that increases rural children's access to quality education and various additional resources, enabling them to develop today for future success.

This experience is expected to be extended to all rural areas of the country after Akmola Region.

Project Start: June 2024.

1. Development of Competencies in School Management and Teaching Staff in Tselinograd District

A systematic training program for 90 administrators (principals and vice-principals) from 30 schools in the district will be based on real management situations and operational tasks.

Programs designed to enhance children's functional literacy will involve 500 teachers from the district. Additionally, post-course support for attendees will be organized for one academic year.

2. The “Rural Pedagogical Academy” focuses on forming professional communities in rural schools and creating an environment conducive to continuous self-development and mutual learning among teachers.

External experts will participate to share their knowledge, and rural teachers will actively support each other in professional growth and experience exchange. An essential principle of this practice is the "Peer-to-Peer" learning concept, where each teacher acts as both a mentor and a learner.

3. Development of Centers for Additional Education in Rural Areas.

An algorithm is currently being developed for launching Centers for Additional Education in rural areas. While urban children have various options for extracurricular activities in creative and sports directions, additional education coverage in rural areas remains low. One of the projects of the "BAQUATTY AUDAN" initiative is "5 Sundyq," where the school should become a center for developing various child abilities.

It is known that access to digital resources is lower in rural areas than in cities. Consequently, digital skills of children and adults are weaker. Organizing access to engaging educational programs and systemic solutions will significantly simplify the educational process in schools, allowing both children and teachers to freely use quality educational and developmental resources.

The pilot project is implemented under the auspices of the AMANAT party, ESEN Foundation, AÑSA Charity Foundation, and Baquatty Aimaq Qory Public Foundation.

Methodological support is provided by the Center for Pedagogical Excellence and Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools of Kazakhstan (NIS RK).
