Residents of North Kazakhstan region affected by floods receive houses made of sandwich panels. What are the advantages of this construction technology?

In less than 2 months, 100 houses were built in the Solnechny-2 microdistrict of Petropavlovsk. As soon as the engineering, communications and repair works are completed, the keys to them are handed over to the happy owners.

The tight construction deadlines do not affect the quality of the building.

The AÑSA foundation, which finances the construction of 400 houses, chose sandwich panels as the main construction technology.

The main feature of sandwich panels is their thermal insulation. Each house consists of 15 sandwich panels, which form the frame of the house. 8 external walls, each 35 cm thick, will help to retain heat in the winter. Inside the sandwich panels there is a 16-centimeter layer of fireproof insulation. This means that new houses will withstand even the 40-degree frosts and strong winds that are typical for the North Kazakhstan region.

Another big advantage of sandwich panels compared to other building materials and technologies is the convenience of installation work. On prepared foundation, external walls are first mounted, which are fixed with concrete mortar and welded onto special partitions. Then, partitions and a roof are installed in the house, also consisting of sandwich panels. The panels themselves are equipped with cable channels, ventilation and plumbing outlets, which facilitates further stages of engineering and technical work in the house.

The use of solid sandwich panels not only helps to significantly reduce the time it takes to build a house, but also reduces the costs of construction and operation of buildings. In addition, the attractive appearance of sandwich panels gives a big advantage compared to other building materials.

In the meantime, the builders, divided into teams, are completing each stage of construction: assembling walls and partitions, installing the roof, installing metal tiles, installing window frames, and finishing the interior of the house. And soon the new owners will be able to move into their new homes.
