Vyacheslav Kim Launches Multifunctional AÑSA HUB in Alatau City

Vyacheslav Kim, Co-Founder of Kaspi.kz and sole shareholder of Alatau City Bank, announced the launch of AÑSA HUB, a multifunctional hub in Alatau City, during events held as part of the state visit of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to South Korea. The hub will be backed by a $100 million endowment fund designed to provide sustainable, long-term financing for its initiatives.
AÑSA HUB will focus on four key areas:
- Delivering educational and infrastructure projects initiated by Vyacheslav Kim, both in Alatau City and across Kazakhstan;
- Advancing and commercializing science by bringing together researchers and universities from Kazakhstan and Central Asia with leading international scientists and investors;
- Providing venture capital investment for innovative projects;
- Providing grant funding for projects in science, the arts, culture, and sports.
Vyacheslav Kim said: “Kazakhstan creates unique opportunities for businesses to develop and grow. It would be no exaggeration to say that business models such as Kaspi.kz would not have been possible in many other countries. Creating AÑSA HUB is my personal way of expressing gratitude to my homeland. I want Kazakhstan to be known around the world as a smart nation – one that does everything it can to nurture and develop its talent. I will make every effort to ensure that Kazakhstan and Alatau City become a destination for bright minds from around the world who want to learn or develop innovative projects.”
AÑSA HUB emphasizes that it will proactively identify and select projects for funding and will not accept applications through an open call.
